Skills that deploy, not certificates that sit on a shelf.
SYDA — GTIC was built around a simple conviction: that Africa’s energy transition will be carried by practitioners who can install, commission and maintain real systems — not by theory alone.
Every cohort moves through hands-on practicals, field trips, industrial visits, internships and attachments on live sites with our partner network. Trainees leave with a recognised TVET/NVTI credential and the competence to work from day one.
We draw entrants from JHS leavers through PhD holders, ages 16 to 50, and train them across solar, wind, biogas and biomass, electric vehicles and energy storage — the technologies that will power homes, businesses and industry across the continent.
